CONCLUSION


Water Tech. has always been an innovative company and that is a huge difference between them and their current competitors. The way they are able to manufacture such unique devices that are user friendly, convenient and efficient makes them top notch. Being a consumer based driven company helps them emphasize that they are there to listen and adjust to the needs of all consumers so that they are able to give the best product that is suitable for their target market.
Water Tech differentiates itself from it’s main competitors by outsourcing their product to China, where labor and cost are cheaper. This is a clear advantage for them because they still get the quality products that is trustworthy but at a more affordable price. When they are able to spend less money on the products they are able to sell the merchandise at lower cost which give them the advantage. As stated previously in the report we learned that outsourcing also enables them to focus more on the human aspect of the business such as customer service and cross training their employees. The benefits of outsourcing are somewhat balanced out by the disadvantage of the waste that is caused such as transporting, waiting etc., but as long as they are able to translate the extra resources they have such as utilizing employees and focused customer service there is no reason why they can't maintain or even excel their position in the industry.
